ABOUT DHAYANA (MISSDEUSGEEK)

Dhayana, also known by her online persona 'MissDeusGeek', is a South Asian/ South East Asian gaming influencer in Australia and New Zealand (“ANZ”). Dhayana is the first Xbox MVP for the ANZ region, who has also been included in Xbox's Hall of Fame, and works closely with the global Xbox team as an ANZ representative, providing feedback and helping to improve the Xbox gaming platform.

She is an award winning Xbox Ambassador representing her region as the only ANZ Xbox Ambassadors Community Champion at present.  She’s also a Women In Games Ambassador and the founder of the not-for-profit community group, Women of Xbox, a global initiative focused on supporting and empowering female Xbox gamers. As of 2021, Dhayana has now been brought on to be the Chief Diversity Officer of the global Xbox focused independent media brand, Games Press Network, as well as the co-host of the Australian based podcast, The XBOX Show.

When not working to develop the Xbox player base and brand through local events and activations, she runs the multi-platform brand Attack On Geek, which she founded in 2015 and led it to become the first New Zealand Facebook Gaming partnered channel.

Dhayana is a strong voice and positive role model for girls and minority groups in the ANZ gaming industry, streaming for charitable causes, working with brands to encourage inclusion, diversity and representation, speaking at events that cater toward BIPOC groups, young girls and those typically underrepresented in gaming, as well as hosting Streaming 101 classes for teens and Women in Gaming meetups during New Zealand’s Tech Week.

She was New Zealand’s first female partner on Microsoft’s Mixer broadcasting platform and is the only female of Sri Lankan and Malaysian descent making a name in the ANZ gaming industry, which has motivated her to grow the BIPOC gaming and influencer community.

Beyond her work for Xbox and diversity, Dhayana is also a strong voice in the industry as a verified public figure, MSI Gaming Partner, EA GameChanger, Twitch Affiliate and more, who has achieved several accolades including being awarded & shortlisted for:
